For the first time in it’s 106 year history, the Ideal Home Show comes to Manchester, welcoming visitors across the North of England through it’s doors at EventCity.
The annual event helps to transform homes and give inspiration to home owners on making a house a home. The show is not only visited by hundreds and thousands of visitors, both celebrities and royalty can also be seen at the event – Queen Elizabeth II has visited 11 times!
Founded in 1908 by the Daily Mail, it was originally envisaged as a publicity tool for the newspaper to increase it’s advertising revenue. It soon became famous for introducing an array of new inventions and gadgets – the vacuum cleaner and electric kettle both made their debut a long time ago at the Ideal Home Show. This tradition carries on today, with new technology always on display and on sale at the event.
Split into seven dedicated show areas: Interiors, Home Improvements, Food & Housewares, Technology, Gardens, Woman and Shopping – this iconic event allows you to discover and explore thousands of products and offers you won’t get on the high street.
